New Knoxville iDropped store on Kingston Pike fixes cell phones, tablets and laptops in an hour and provides a free one-year warranty. Stop replacing your phone when you break the screen!
Virtually everyone who uses an electronic device has experienced the frustration of breaking the screen on a phone, tablet or laptop. In the past, that shattered screen required a new device costing hundreds of dollars – but a new store in Knoxville quickly and affordably replaces screens on devices for a fraction of the cost of replacement.
The new iDropped store on Kingston Pike in Knoxville will have a Grand Opening April 7-8. That weekend, a generous portion of proceeds from iDropped will be donated to Emerald Youth Foundation, a Knoxville nonprofit that helps inner-city youth. The store will also have free food, drinks and will have drawings for a free iPad and phone, tablet and laptop accessories throughout the weekend.
The phone, tablet and laptop repair center has fully-trained technicians who can repair most devices in less than an hour. With nearly everyone carrying a cell phone (and nearly as many hauling around tablets and laptops) iDropped is already building a loyal customer base.
“In the past, a broken screen meant a new phone,” said Tiekel Finnikin, the owner of iDropped. “That’s like getting a new car because you have a flat tire. We can fix a screen and have your phone looking like new in less than an hour – and it’s very affordable. You don’t need a new phone, tablet or laptop just because you break your screen.”
iDropped specializes in repairing broken screens and some of the controls and functions of mobile devices. It services IPhones, iPads, iPods, Galaxy S5 and S6 phones and can do screen repairs on most popular Windows and Mac laptop computers. iDropped can repair most common phones in an hour and other electronic devices within 24 hours. The company provides a full one-year warranty on its repairs.
iDropped is a Pennsylvania-based company that operates repair centers and stores across the country. The Knoxville store is the company’s first in Tennessee, although there are plans for as many as five in the next few years.
Finnikin, an entrepreneur with more than 12 years’ experience in electronic technology, has worked for companies including DirectTV, AT&T and Verizon. All the staff at iDropped are fully trained technicians.
“People rely heavily on their phones and electronic devices,” Finnikin said. “We know people are lost when their devices break – so we focus on providing world-class customer service and the fastest service you can find anywhere. We want to get these devices back into our customers’ hands as quickly as possible.”
iDropped – which also sells a variety of phone and tablet accessories – is located at 7115 Kingston Pike in Knoxville, just east of West Town Mall. The store is open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday and appointments are never necessary for repair services. The grand opening event is April 7-8, 2017 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
